To be honest, it was not something that scared me or made me regret being at that place at that time doing that job.<br /><br />I am also glad that it was inert because there is still a great deal of work to be done. But make no mistake that I am more than ready to be with my Lord Jesus Christ when (and however) He chooses to call me home. I look forward to the celestial rest in the church triumphant. I especially look forward to having this abhorrently sinful nature cast off of me. I have to agree with the apostle when he says:<br /><br /><I>"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account."</I>-Philippians 1:21-24<br /><br />Hopefully none of the local chaplains will see this comment.
