BTW, Jefferson Hills is doing a similar series also...and they don't shy away from their admiration of Crosspointe (the nonLCMS) at all.RPWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16686240798146992394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6830222431077572203.post-40471261958151208982008-08-06T13:56:00.000-05:002008-08-06T13:56:00.000-05:00Nope, you're not imagining a thing.Nope, you're not imagining a thing.Thursday's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13302061328797620494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6830222431077572203.post-16936128383124690342008-08-06T12:34:00.000-05:002008-08-06T12:34:00.000-05:00TREEBEARD: The ents cannot hold back this war. We must weather such things as we have always done.

MERRY: How can that be your decision?

TREEBEARD: This is not our war.

MERRY: But your part of this world! Aren’t you? You must help. Please. You must do something.

TREEBEARD: You are young and brave, master Merry. But your part in this tale is over. Go back to your home.

PIPPIN: Maybe Treebeard’s right. We don’t belong here, Merry. It’s too big for us. What can we do in the end? We’ve got the Shire. Maybe we should go home.

MERRY: The fires of Isengard will spread. And the woods of Tuckborough and Buckland will burn. We were supposed to read Warren's Purpose Driven Church at the Seminary, and by-and-large it was received enthusiastically by many. A few complained about the lack of emphasis on the Sacraments, but that was about the only objection that was raised.

Again, not a coincidence. Welcome to the new Synod.Christopher D.
